Youth At-Risk from a Bad Start

Every day in America:
  • 4 children are killed by abuse or neglect
  • 1 young person dies from HIV infection
  • 5 children, or teens, commit suicide
  • 8 children are killed by firearms
  • 181 children are arrested for violent crimes
  • 383 children are arrested for drug abuse
  • 2,383 children are reported abused or neglected
  • 1,153 babies are born to teen mothers
  • 2,411 babies are born into poverty
  • 2,261 children drop out of high school every school day (1 of every 4 high school freshmen fails to finish high school in four years in the USA — multiply that by 180, and the annual figure astounds!)
  • 4,356 children are arrested

This is every day! Multiply these figures (except for the dropout numbers) by 365 if you can bear it. Also:

  • 9,200,000 children are without health insurance
  • 12,423,000 children live in poverty

All the children included in the above statistics (and more categories not listed) come to school carrying their burdens and issues with them. It is safe to assume that many of the children represented in the above figures are, indeed, at-risk of having decreased horizons of success. By default our schools have become the focus of efforts to address at-risk issues. Schools readily admit they are both inadequately informed and inadequately prepared for this immense task, but this has not stopped many of them from making the noble effort.

*These statistics are from Children's Defense Fund 2008.

Does any care about our YOUTH?

Well last week we drop off a packet with all the info for E1 Youth Inc. It had all the details on the organization. We left it with a couple of older women. They said they would look through the packet and let us know what they thought about it and they would see what they could do to help. We went back up to the ladies and talked to them about it. They knew nothing about what we are doing at E1. They didn't even know it was for the youth!!! Why are people like this?? We want to do great things for the youth and no one is even showing they care. Does any care about our YOUTH???

Have you been to our website???

As you know if you've been to our website, (e1youth.org) that we have several different types of pages you can go to and check out. If you haven't been to the website then you should go and check it out. Let me tell those of you who haven't been a little about our site and the pages we have. The different pages we have are, Future Models, Future Artist, Future Dancers, The Unsigned and Skaters. These pages are up to show all the many talents out there.
We at E1 youth want to give the youth as many different avenues and opportunities as possible. Since everyone has different interests, goals, and dreams, of what they want to do or be in life. We want to be able to help and offer ways to get them where they want to be in life.
If you or anyone you know would like to show case there talents on our website, then all you have to do is, email us at e1youthinc@gmail.com. Tell us a little about yourself and attach your pics, videos, etc.. that you would like on your page and we will do the rest.

What we are doing.

We at E1 Youth Inc., have been working very hard to get things up and running for the youth. We recently got a building, that we are doing some remodeling to. So that we can make the most out of the space we have. We want to have as many of our youth as possible.

It gets very frustrating when people promise to help with funding or help by donating items and they all fall through. Then you end up looking like the bad guy to all the youth. Since you promised them you would have a program to help them and it's taking forever. What are the youth supposed to do in the mean time??

We at E1 Youth are out to help the youth.
Our mission: is to teach the youth about the job market, electronic resources, how to save money, manage the money they do have, and create financial awareness. So that they become successful and productive citizens. We are preparing them to become future entrepreneurs. Out of all the organizations to want to help out with. This should be the one. Our youth are our future. We want them to have all the help and knowledge we can offer.

We would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service in the industry. Please contact us for any Donations that will help us reach as many of the youth as possible. E1 Youth Inc. would greatly appreciate your financial support or in-kind contribution. Your tax-deductible donation helps E1 Youth Inc. fulfill it's mission to help the youth. Please consider making a donation today.

Who has the answer???

Have you heard the saying,
"If you don't know where you come from, you don't know where your gonna go".
Well I don't know if it's true or not. I do know that not knowing your past, you will always have a since of emptiness.

How can I say this is true?

The only thing I can say is how I feel and I find myself looking for something, and when I get what I think I want the feeling is still there.

So what do I do now?
How do I stop that feeling?
Who has the answer?

To find the answer I've traveled very far, not as most would think. My travels were not only in the physical but also in the mental. My journey has been long and lonely and I have yet ran across anyone who can show me which way to go. It seems that everyone is just as lost as myself.

So what should I do now?
What road to go down?
Who has the right answers?
Who has enough loyalty and respect for me to follow?
Where is the answer?

WHY DID MORE HAITI DIE THAN CHILE

because the Chile government was better prepared and equip to handle such a mass destruction
and to be honest the Haiti government did not keep a record on how many people died so who knows the truth could be more could be less only god knows the truth.
and one more thing just like New Orleans were did the money go from that we still have misplaced people and neighborhoods that are still not cleaned up. so once again were did that money go we need to clean up our own house help out our own people and support our youth.
